Kanude is a songwriter, recording artist, and producer releasing music primarily under the monikers Kanude, LightBody Sound & Val Holler over the past 25+ years. His music has been featured in HBO's "True Blood," as part of the original programming for the inaugural New York Fringe Festival (in which he composed and performed in a wild, downtown rock opera, "One Arm Red: Gospel Truth Family Hour") and early on as the co-composer/music producer of Robert Rodriguez'?s critically acclaimed feature film debut "El Mariachi."? He was a contributing songwriter/founder & performer with post-new wave NYC band Mind Over Matter & later has fronted and managed recording & live projects while based in Los Angeles, California; Berlin, Germany, Austin, Texas; Portland, Oregon; Richmond, Virginia; and currently Nashville, Tennessee.
